GE Triton xl dishwasher. Started making growling noise when in the wash cycle. only happens some times. can open door to stop and close again to start and the noise will stop. noise will return sometimes . Dishwasher 4 years old

Theres a screen, Remove this screen.

Clean out the debris in the sump.
Thats where the problem is.

is the screen on the back of the dishwasher. In other words do i pull the dishwasher out to get to it?

yes i did is it take off #506 and lift out # XXXXX


Just take off 506.

& clean out the sump

Food gets in there

* starts to raddle around

You should be ok
