I have a whirlpool cabrio washer with 6th sense and I need to change the valve, log assembly.(the plastic assembly has tubes that look layered). Does this have to be connected somehow or can I just plug it into the tray?
Can i have the part number?

Yes you should be able to just plug it in there should be a screw to hold it in place.

There were 2 screws holding the valve assembly down. I removed them along with the wires connecting the different sensors & tried to pull off the old assembly, but it seems to be resisting. I don't want to break anything so I thought I should investigate further. So you do agree that it should just pull off? There is a graphic of the piece at

It is Item #5 on the Control Panel Parts (as the above link)

Yes if you removed the screws it should just pull off.
