On my Maytag quiet series 300 the water will not drain. How do I fix this problem

It's a dishwasher, and it runs through all the cycles but the water stays at the bottom of the unit.

Turn off power to unit.
Remove lower rack.

Clean the screen at the bottom of the tub. Food yuck accumulates here.

It should unscrew easily but in some cases is reverse threaded.

Clean filter under running water.

Re assemble and test.

If this does not work. You will need to order a pump. This is accessed under the front lower kick panel.

Once again shut power and water.

Unbolt it after removing water supply line.

Remove wire harness.

Replace repower, turn water on.
