I have an old GE DDE 7500 BALAD electric dryer. I need to replace the dryer hose. How do I get "into" the dryer to connect the hose to the vent on the inside? There is a side hole and a back hole.

HiCustomer ok you open door look up, remove 4 screws from under the lip of the main top.

look in side ,2 screws holding the front panel on,remove wires to door switch,remove front panel

take not of how belt goes on pulley,remove tension from idler loosen off belt,go to back of dryer on outside and remove retaining clip holding drum on,could be a plastic cover over it,back to front and you should be able to slide drum out,but it is a bit tight

you should have acess to inside venting now
