I have a GE SS ref model #tfx24prxaww. The ice/water dispenser started dripping water this afternoon. What causes this?

you probably have a bad water inlet valve, I see this all the time, these are easy to change and are right in the back of the ref. where the water hooks up to the ref. these valves are duel one side runs the ice maker and the other the water in door, the side that runs the water in door isnt shutting tightly so it drips. this is your valve, Part(NNN) NNN-NNNN width=to release the plastic water lines just push up on the white plastic pieces and pull the hoses out, shut water off to ref. first. hope this helps thanks Bryan
