Hi,Ok,considering it worked twice and then quite and no ice at nipple, it lis likely a defective unit. as the chances the solenoid also failed are extremly minimal.i would exchange it once more.if my answer has been helpful, please click the accept button!thank you
in the control head of the ice maker on the potted circuit board is a "test" button what should happen it I push this
ALSO, DO YOU HAVE A SOURCE FOR WIRING DIAGRAMS FOR THE FRIDGE & ICE MAKER SO i SOME IDEA OF PERMISSIVES
It should cycle, if it never gets to the point where it fills, then its defective.The way I see understand this problem it had worked a couple of times, if it stopped I would still suspect the ice maker itself and not the solenoid.
Im sorry I dont have the wiring diagram for this model, but its a simple system,te ice maker calls for water from the solenoid, fills the tray and dumps the ice.The only other component is the solenoid at the rear of the fridge behind it rather, where the water line enters. I doubt very much that is at fault given the scenario you have described.Please let me know what you dicide to do.thank you
