I have a Kenmore range (Mod# XXXXX) (S/N RJ2533505)

I have a Kenmore range (Mod# XXXXX) (S/N RJ2533505) and the left front (dual-element) burner on the ceran top quit working (first the large element then later, the smaller center element) shortly after we got the range. I am assuming the problem is with the "Infinite Switch" (P/N(NNN) NNN-NNNN. Do you concur? I'm pretty handy with appliance/electrical repair and feel I can replace the control. I just don't want to throw expensive parts at this range that aren't necessary.

Yes I would suspect the switch also.
