I have a GE Profile refridgerator model 26. The ice maker makes ice but it will not dispence ice or water. When I push against the actuator for the cup, all LED lights go out for about two seconds and nothing else happens. At times I can hear a sound like a relay cycling and the LEDs on the freezere door at the ice dispenser will flash. Is there anyting I can try?
HelloCustomerWelcome to Just Answer,My name s Ican.You can try to reset the system.Turn off the fridge, then!Pull the plug out for five minutes, or if you can not reach the plug, turn off the breaker for five minutes.After you re-plug it in and turn the fridge on, it should have reset the system.If this does not work, you will need a hands on tech to diagnose if it is a relay!It's not worth swapping out parts randomly!That gets unnecessarily expensive!Let me know how you do!Please press the "Accept" button if my answer has helped.
