I have a 1998 Jenn-Air microwave/oven combo (built-in) The Microwave (Model M170B) is the problem. What is called the "choke door" on the inside of the unit has broken in one of the corners. I have all the pieces...can I glue them together, or use an epoxy. The choke door is no longer available...I sure don't want to replace the combo unit because of this.
Yes, You can glue them!I would not use epoxy.I would go to a hardware store and look for a good quality cyanocrylate glue. Preferably a better grade than Crazy glue.Hobby shops carry this stuff as well. A quick cure one will work fine for this application as well as they do come in a variety of set times.
thanks...so there is not danger of off gasing or melting of the cyanocrylate glue...?
Hi, No, Once the glue is completly dry, there wont be any more fumes but I would wait a few hours before using it.
