on my kitchenaid range ykesc307hb7 the oven is not coming up to temperature.at a very brief visit a teck said it was the control board and woudl be 600 to 700 dollars.How do you get at this board it looks like the part cost is only 2 to 3 hundred do you have any other possible causes

Hi, thanks for using JustAnswer.com. If you set the oven to 350*F, what does it do after say, 15 minurtes? Is the oven hot or warm or not heating at all?

it will come up to temp but not to 350 degrees everything is being underbaked

Sorry for the delay...my internet decided to rest for a bit. How far off is the temp? The control is adjustable up to 35*F...

the oven does heat,but there is no power to the bake element.a rather poor tecky recommended replacing the whole board.how do i do this myself they want 600 dollars.
