Resolved Question:

We were working with ALAN (BVE30)re: Error code E1F1. You suggested replacing the "motherboard", wwhich we did. The error codes disappeared, however the start button does not engage when we set the oven temp. The burners all go on, even before the error code came on, however ythe fron right burner only heats to low. So what next?? CustomerPrins ([email protected]) Thanks

So when you push the start button nothing happens? Does the oven ever get hot?

On the burner problem did you switch the rocker switch by the burner switch?

No the oven does not get warm, all the buttons on the console beep when pressed, except the START button, and also the OFF button. The top of the range burners are all OK now. (silly me, I had the simmer button on and didn't even realize it was there).

Make sure that all the connections to the board are plugged in tight first. Check the door switch too. If those are good then it would have to be a bad new board. I have seen that happen before.
