hi this is Bryan click here to see latch assembly these get bent sometimes and the dont want to lock or unlock in your case. maybe if you look at latch assembly you can see if you can get a small screw driver in and help to release it , the other way is to pull d/w out a bit and remove the two screws holding the catch on tub and once you get it open you can look to see if its bent, these have two parts that need to catch before it will lock, have you had trouble locking before this happend? let me know. The latch is not a horizontal catch. it is a pinch type. the part appeared to be the wrong one. the release handle is mostly hidden under the lip of the door. maybe this better helps to identfy the ketch. the front door has a curved apperance to it and looks very modern and not square.With out being able to open the door, i don't know how to access the mounting screws to remove it from the cabinet?
