why would ice start forming on the bottom of the freezer on a 10 year old side by side?

Hi, this is Bryan, you most likely have a clogged defrost drain line. if you take the back panel off freezer section and look under coils in the middle there is a drain hole for defrost water to go down to catch pan under ref.. this may be covered with ice take hot water and pour it on ice until clear and it drain freely , this will take care of problen. hope this helps Bryan, p.s. get lots of towels.
