Customer Question

My igniter lights. I changed the gas valve coils and still no flame. What could it be?

Hi, thanks for using I assume you are working on a gas clothes dryer. If you have changed the coils, there are only two other things it could be if the ignitor glows, the flame sensor and the valve. I would suspect the flame sensor before the valve. Is the little "window" clean by the flame sensor? Sometimes soot can build up and cause erratic operation.
