have ge top loader washer. will not agitat or spin. Will fill with water and drain trough timer settings. Looked at motor, it has 1 blinking light every 8 seconds. unplug wires from motor light stops blinking. reconnect light blinks again every 8 sec. please need help Asap. Thanks for your time Dave

You may have a lid switch that has gone out.

What is the model number of your unit, please?

this light on the motor board is for an overcurrent protector there might be a reset button on it to reset it your problem could be a few things bad motor bad motor board or something causing the motor to draw to much current hope this helps yopu and is an acceptible answer if so please click accept and thank you Kevin

Sorry we could not help you, Dave. Your unit is just too new still. That means that the service manuals are not readily available to the general public (or resourcefull experts) yet. The only ones that have them are the authorized agents. And they guard the darn things like they are gold coated with platinum encrusted lettering. Without one there is almost no way that you can diagnose the new computer controlled units.
