I have an old Lady Kenmore hd dryer that has a broken belt. I bought a new belt, but am unable to find out how to get into the dryer to replace it?

ok , on the top where your lint trap is there should be two screws , take them out. then take a screwdriver and pop top up. look down the sides of machine insisde and you should see two 5/16 screws holding front panel on remove these and pull front toward you and lift off bottom clips. you dont have a bottom panel on this in the front thats seperate from front panel with the door right? if you do have panel open with screwdriver and loosen two 5/16 screws holding top panel. once you have front off just replace belt around drum and through pully like this diagram and put back together in reverse. hope this helps Bryan
