I am a Refrigeration servicman. I have replaced quite a few

Resolved Question:

I am a Refrigeration servicman. I have replaced quite a few of the adaptive defrost timers. At first I had no problem, lately when I replace it and plug in the ref, the compressor starts for a brief moment and dies. I tried 3 of the timers I had in stock, none of them worked. I ordered a new one and it worked. Sometimes they seem to work some times they don't. I know I am using the right part. Any idea ?
