Hi; have a GE TBX 25R that is collecting water at the bottom of the refrigerator under vegetable bins. Some ice and brown residue seem to be sometimes be present there and on back side of the refrigerator bottom. Suggestions??

Hi, thanks for using The first thing that comes to mind is the defrost drain being plugged and leaking down into the refrig. However, this drain is at the bottom of the evaporator behind the rear panel. These refrig's are a nightmare to pull apart the freezer section. They have a history of leaking through rusty drip trays, which would explain the brown stuff. You will have to remove the rear freezer panel to check this. Let me know if you get in there...
