I have a Maytag Performa dryer that is not heating. I would like to check the fuse and heating element. What is the best way to disassemble the dryer to reach these?

the heating element and high limit thermostat are under the top in the back . you can lift the top by pushing screwdriver in under the top about three inches in from side there are clips holding top down . once thats done the heater and thermostats are behind drum , you can go to and see diagrams, hope this helps Bryan please press accept if it helped , also feedback is apperiated. thanks again Bryan
