Resolved Question:

My Hotpoint BFV620 has 2 flashing lights that indicate that the machine is not taking in water. The water source is good, and there is decent water pressure to the side of the machine. There is a clear pastic matrix on the left hand side of the machine which seem to restrict the water flow. If I maually fill the machine, it seems to work but as soon as it needs to take in water it stops.

do you have a volt meter? have you check power to valve? let me know Bryan

Reply to a1speedyappliance's Post: Yes the valve at the water intake is working. The NEXT small valve (a circulating pump?) also seems to be working, I didnt check them with a voltmeter but I disconnected the pipe and the water is flowing when the valve opens. The water appears to be getting through the plastic matrix on the side, it seems like there is a blockage further on in the system
