HiCustomer

I called an ex girlfriend that is part owner of a dry cleaners in the Napa Valley area. She said that the French laundry unit manufacturers used to be unequaled, but in the past few years have gone to being cheaply made and little, or no tech support for the equipment. She has a felllow dry cleaner owner that just re equipped their store with equipment from Taizhou Haifeng Machinery Manufacturing Co.,ltd out of Hong Kong (or whatever its called now). The equipment is good quality and the support is excellant.according to her friend.

Below are some links to the equipment that Donna says you will need at a minimum if you intend to make a go of the business. She added that the dry cleaning unit is optional at the start but you will want to get one some day.

Customer The above equipment is of the same standards as the equipment used in major hospitals. There is no problem meeting the requirements for OSHA approval.

In order to start your business you will need one of each machine except the dry cleaning machine. You need a washer, dewatering machine (spins the material at high RPMs to extract as much water as possible thus reducing dryer useage), dryer, and press (commonly called a "mangle"). These are of course the bare essentials and there will be more equipment needed but these are the big ones.
