AC blower motor GE model 5kcp39kg hp1/3 v115 Question: what is the green stuff inthe motor around the shaft? It's powerdery and looks like light green cake crumbs.

thats more than likely corrosion . ac units have allot of condensation in unit and tends to corrode more than other motors , its not uncommon , it tends to clump up also making it look cake like. hope this helps, Bryan

there probably sealed bearings. you cant grease sealed bearings. what is it doing? squealing? Bryan

dont know, how old is it? usually we replace but you can try, depending on how old you may be able to get replacement if it doesnt stop squealing , hope this helps Bryan p.s. I'll try and look it up if you can give me model off unit.
