Hello there, I have a Panasonic Microwave NN-S262BF

Hello there,
I have a Panasonic Microwave NN-S262BF manufactured.
in January 2003.
It was working very well for several years when suddently it started to stop working afer 3 seconds of operation!.
I tried many settings and unfortunately 3 second is all I can get.
If you have an answer to this challenge it would be great.

hi this is Bryan, you probably have one of two possible problems both of which is an expensive repair . 1 . your high voltage transformer is bad. or 2 your magnitron is bad. either way its cheaper to replace and much faster because you would probably wait awhile for part and finding parts could be a problem, unfortunatly microwaves are not realy made to last as long as the use to.you can buy new one for around $250. if its over the range or cheaper if its countertop. microwaves are also dangerous to work on . the capasitor can hold alot of power for a long time even unplugged. please be carefull if you attemp to repair yourself. I personaly dont recomend it. hope this helps in you. thanks Bryan
