ok does it sound like a motor running,? or is it more a loud buzzing sound.? you can tell if the motor is running by taking vent hose off and if air is blowing out you have a broken belt. if no air than your motor is not starting at all. it sounds to me like you may have a bad motor though, the other things is you have something stuck in your blower or your rear bearing has wore down to where its hitting metal and your motor cant start. let me know whether its blowing out the back. thanks Bryan

Reply to a1speedyappliance's Post: No Motor action at all. There is no click on the time-side of the dial 30, 60, 90 minute side. But there is a click on the pre-set temperature side. When the dial is turned to this side and the start button is pressed, a buzz, humm side emits from the top of the unit.

i noticed you said dryer is less than a year old? if it is its still under warranty. i would call factory service rather than try and fix yourself. if you try they might void your warranty.hope this helps Bryan
