This quesiton concerns the residential air condition unit

Resolved Question:

This quesiton concerns the residential air condition unit inside the house. There is a coil unit that sets at an angle above a drip tray. It looks like water should flow down the incline into the tray, but water is dripping off the back of the coil unit onto the inside of the air conditioner. This did not occur last summer. The edges of the coil unit has some rust on it. I placed a plastic box in the bottom of the AC to catch the dripping.

There should be a drain on drip pan , its probably clogged. you said you had rust and that can break loose and clog drain . you will probably see a hose running down some where foolow it up and thats where your drain hloe should be. Hope this helps. Bryan feedback is appreciated tanks again
