I have a Kenmore side by side, Model#(NNN) NNN-NNNN Iam hearing popping sounds that lasts 5-7 seconds and then stops. Then it does it again after a few hours

If the sound appears to be coming from inside the freezer then -

This type of sound is most often the damper between the freezer and the fresh food compartment. Cold air is sent (when need) from the freezer to the fresh food compartment with this damper. Sometimes they come a little more noisy when the freezer is working overtime (summer).
