Customer Question

Sometimes during the spin cycle it sounds like there is a loose screw bouncing around. I took off the back access panel and ran a spin cycle with nothing in the drum... and no sounds created. Next, I threw two pair of jeans in the drum and started a spin cycle and within a few minutes the loose screw sounds returned. It happen randomly, but it sounds very bad when it does happen. Any clue how to address this problem?   (rjs 6/4/08)

I have seen this happen a couple of times. Something...... a small toy a rock a piece of plastic, something hard, has migrated in between the tub and inner basket. It gets lodged on the inner basket support and hangs there until spin. Then it rattles around. I would love to tell you to just ignore it, it will go away, but i dont know that. To remove the front half of the tub assm is a big job.

hope this helps
