Tjhe voltages acrost Europe are most all 230 volts at 50 cycles (Hz). Some hotels offer 110 volt hookups but not all.

If you purchased the unit in France you should be fine in the UK.

Please be sure that the unit is rated at 230 and not for 110 volts. It will be indicated on the manufact=urers tag on the unit.
