I have a kitchenaid washer front loader and is stuck on control lock. Is there anyway to get it working?

Your manual should have a key combination that would open it. I think (off the top of my head) you hold down the control lock for several seconds.

If the procedure in the manual did not work then, the next best thing to do would be to unplug the washer for a couple of minutes and plug it back in. This would reset a memory board that has become "confused".

that didnt work. The model num is KHWS02RMT1       and it says type 199

Unplug the washer.

Remove the bottom panel.

Reach up along the inside of the front panel and locate the bottom of the door latch assembly.

Located on the bottom of the door latch assembly is a tear-drop shaped tab.

Gently pull the tab down about 1/4" or until a click is heard.

You may have to replace the door switch assembly.
