Hi, Thank you for using justanswer for your appliance questions!

You may have possibly got one of the igniter switches wet or a spill over. If it possibly got wet from cleaning or a spill over, unplug the unit ant let it dry for a couple of days. If it just started to spark all of a sudden, one of the igniter switches are shorted. Maytag part# XXXXX
