Our Gibson Upright Commercial Freezer (at least 12

Resolved Question:

Our Gibson Upright Commercial Freezer (at least 12 years old, maybe more) stopped working. It happened after we lost power during a wind storm. When power came back 3 days later, the freezer did not. It was plugged into a still working outlet Can it be resuscitated?

Thanks for using JustAnswer.

Gibson is not a name that has been in use recently. I'm guessing that the freezer may be older than 12 years. So, normally with the energy savings that you would get with a new model it probably is not work the effort to repair this unit. New units will save enough electricity for you to see a difference in the first bill.

If you are handy and would like to more information, please send me the model number and we can start from there.
