i HAVE A WHIRLPOOL GAS CLOTHES DRYER THAT THE DRUM TURNS BUT THE AIR DOES NOT GET HOT. i SUPPOSE THE IGNITOR TIP/UNIT MAY BE BAD. APPROXIMATELY HOW MUCH WILL IT BE TO GET IT SERVICED?

It does sound like the ignitor may be bad, depending where you are in the country I will say between 150-200 dollar's. But hten it is good for a while. Definitlely better off calling in the pro and be done with it.
