Hi, my name is*****'m a certified appraiser, and I'd be happy to help.

Are there any marks, stamps, or labels anywhere on the lamp, including the bottom and the metal hardware fittings?

Jennifer

non that I could find except the light socket has Leviton on it, pretty much standard lamp socket no other markings visible

Without a maker's mark, given the 1979 dating--an era of mass production by hundreds or thousands of companies, often using very similar styles--we will not be able to identify a maker.

If you upload photos, I can value it based on style.

A phone call would be an extra charge and is not necessary. I just need to see photos. If you need help with uploading photos, you can talk to Customer Support for free.

Did the pictures I sent come through?
Expert:  AppraiserJM replied 5 months ago.

Yes, as per my previous response please give me a little time to review.

Thank you.

This vintage prism crystal hurricane lamp would have a current value of approximately $125.00.

Sincerely,

Jennifer

can you tell who made it or where it came from?
Expert:  AppraiserJM replied 5 months ago.

Unfortunately, it's fairly generic in style for the time period, and as I said earlier, because of the many, many companies making lamps of this style--and in very similar crystal patterns--it can't be identified if unmarked.

ok, thank you.

You're welcome.
