2 different references dated the watch as either 1893 or 1900. Please try to date it more accurately

Hello,
My name isCustomerand I would love to help. Both pictures were of the dial.
Please use the Add Files feature to add pictures of the back, inner case and the movement.
The serial number on a watch is on the movement (guts) and not on the case.

Add pictures one at a time( add one, hit send, then do the next).

Once you do, give me some time to research.

No need to sit by the computer, you will get an email when I respond.

(NOTE: I do not participate in the phone service.)

I will answer without photos. I see that you did give both numbers.

This is an 1893 Rockford gold-filled (not gold) size 18s lever-set hunter case pocket watch

with Roman chapters, sunk second dial and an 11-jewel, grade 69, model 8 movement. The value of this

watch is $300 to $350.00 retail.
Some sites that I recommend for selling are Varagesale.com, Ioffer.com, OfferUp.com, Ebay and letgo.com.
You can also go to invaluable.com or liveauctioneers.com and search their directory for an auction house near you and consign to them.

To finish, I will need you to click the five stars at the top right of your screen and hit the green submit button, thanks!
