This is a Tressemanes and Vogt Limoges (France) powder jar that was

painted in 1896 by a hobby painter named McKnight. It was common for

ladies to buy black china and paint it themselves. This power jar would

have been part of a matching dresser set that would have included a tray,

hair receiver, and pin dish.

The value of this jar is $45.00 retail.
Some sites that I recommend for selling are Varagesale.com, Ioffer.com, OfferUp.com, Ebay and letgo.com.
You can also go to invaluable.com or liveauctioneers.com and search their directory for an auction house near you and consign to them.

To finish, I will need you to click the five stars at the top right of your screen and hit the green submit button, thanks!
