Pricing on one possible antique

Hello and welcome! My name is Doris.
I have been an antiques collector, dealer and appraiser for over 56 years.
I will be pleased to help you.

Please send me a photo of the piece and any marks or labels.

You may need to use the macro function (flower icon) of your camera to get a good clear photo of the marks or labels.

If you cannot get a good photo, then sketch the marks and take a photo of the sketch.

To send photos you may use the "reply to expert" or "add files" in the blue box link on your reply page or the "paper clip" found in the toolbar you see on your reply page.
Please do not send in ZIP format. The jpg or jpeg format works best.

An explanation of this method can be found here:

I also need a description of the piece such as size/condition, etc.

Kind regards,
Doris

there it is. If mfg./artist marks are on it, where would they be located? Tom
Expert:  Doris - dfm925 replied 2 months ago.

Thank you for the photos.

Sometimes there is a sticker label on the bottom. Yours is missing so we probably will not be able to tell the manufacturer.

Is it heavy enough to be a bookend?

Kind regards,

Doris

Were you able to contact customer service? Do you want to proceed here?

I have researched your figure. I knew who he was right away. I just needed to know if it were heavy enough to be a bookend?

If not, it would be a figure of a famous individual only... a small statue.

Let me know.

Kind regards,

Doris

Statue weighs a good 7-10 lbs. Butuch too tall at 24" to be a book end. Hold on to any info and I will contact Cust Svc in am. Tom

Thank you for letting me know, Tom.

I look forward to hearing back from you.
