Hello and welcome! My name is Doris.
I have been an antiques collector, dealer and appraiser for over 56 years.
I will be pleased to help you.

Hostess is not a pattern but a shape. There are several patterns in the Hostess shape. If you know an additional name or number, please let me know. Please describe the decoration on your pieces.

"Sets" come in many different sizes.

Please tell me the following -

How many people does your set serve?

How many pieces does each person have?

What serving pieces are there? These can add as much as 30% to the value of a set.

Kind regards,

Doris

I will send a picture. It originally served 12 I believe. You have a picture in the ad. The veg bowl with lid, three sizes platters, creamer and sugar with lid. I think I have all 12 cups and saucers, bread and butter plates, salad plates. A few dinner plates not all pristine.

I am very sorry but I do not have access to the ad you mention.

Please send picture so I can give you the best answer possible.

To send photos you may use the "reply to expert" or "add files" in the blue box link on your reply page or the "paper clip" found in the toolbar you see on your reply page.
Please do not send in ZIP format. The jpg or jpeg format works best.
