Oops it did

This is a Victorian rolled gold (fold-filled) circa 1880 to 1900 watch chain and watch fob with T bar.

I can tell by the wear down to metal on the fob that it is gold filled, and when one piece is, the best bet is that the whole

piece is gold-filled.

This chain and fob has a current value of $75.00 retail.

One thing please. Photo keepsake, does it make it a mourning piece
Expert:  rarewares replied 7 months ago.

No, not technically. If it had hair in it or if the chain was made of hair ( I know), or if the piece was black jet plastic it would be a mourning piece.
