Customer Question

I hhave this price t that looks like it was done in charcoal. Behind the print was some newspaper dated dec. 14, 1889. It is in a very old white scrolled frame.
JA: I always love having an appraiser look at my stuff. Sometimes its turned out to be surprisingly valuable. Tell us what else you do know and the Antiques Appraiser will be able to better assist you.
Customer: It has 4 newspaper pages but I could not gather anything from them. They were placed in between cardboard.
JA: Is there anything else the Antiques Appraiser should be aware of?
Customer: The frame is heavy and has boards nailed to the back of it. Also the print appears to have some water damage. It is extremely old.

Hello and welcome! My name is Doris.
I have been an antiques collector, dealer and appraiser for over 56 years.
I will be pleased to help you.

Please send me a photo of your charcoal drawing. I also need the size of the piece not including the frame. Do not remove from the frame.

Kind regards,
