Hi, my name is*****'m a certified appraiser, and I'd be happy to help.

These would not typically be signed--can you post a close-up of the mark?

Also, can you post some photos of the underside, and the joins, so I can see construction?

And lastly, where did you purchase it?

I purchased this at a garage sale

Thank you.

From both the construction and the styling, this appears to be later--I'd say late 19th through the mid 20th centuries, at the earliest.

The lacquer is done only on the top, with the inside/bottom being unstained--this is not typical of older, or higher quality newer, pieces.

Is there any metal hardware anywhere (nails, screws, etc.)? If so can you send me a photo?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
There is no screws what so ever all wood joints

I'm looking into it further. I'll get back to you. I'm checking with a colleague who is out to lunch at the moment.

I'm really unable to get a clear answer for you on this. I'm going to opt out and leave this for another appraiser. You don't need to do anything and won't be charged again.
