Although very well done, this does not immediately strike as a bed frame by Prudent Mallard. I do suggest that you contact Keil's and M.S. Rau antiques in New Orleans for more opinions as well as these auction houses in New Orleans, Neal Auction Co and Crescent City Auctions. I also highly recommend contacting Keno Auctions in NYC (you may recognize the owner as one of the twins on Antiques Roadshow) they specialize in fine American Furniture. It is free to contact the auction houses through their websites for an estimate and possible opinion.
