I have recently been offered a very large set of royal

Customer Question

I have recently been offered a very large set of royal doulton witches seriesware by an old friend. There are over 28 pieces .Some pieces very worn from heavy use and some are in very good condition. Would the value on the good pieces be similar to the ones given on pieces 3 years ago?
JA: I always love having an appraiser look at my stuff. Sometimes its turned out to be surprisingly valuable. Is there anything else the Antiques Appraiser should be aware of?
Customer: She hasn't had anyone look at it yet. She says she wants the set to stay together. I would like to offer her a fair price but can't find any comprehensive info on the set. Have the prices gone up or down in the last three years?
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Antiques Appraiser about your situation and then connect you two.

The Royal Doulton Witches series pieces, if in good condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or fading design, would be worth about 10% more than they were three years ago.

A private seller to a dealer or at auction can expect 30-60% of retail value.

I hope I have helped you.
