Has the envelope been used? In other words, has the stamp been canceled?

I just picked it up. Thank you.
Allow me some time to review my notes.
I will be back as soon as I can know I am giving you the best answer.
After seeing your photo and reviewing my notes, I was able to determine a retail vintage store value of $14-18 for your 1949/50 tete beche stamped envelope.
A private seller to a dealer or at auction can expect 30-60% of retail value.
I hope I have helped you.

Those are extraordinary prices indeed.
See the following example from a high-end dealer for sale for less than $4000.
I guess the prices have a wide range.
