I have a capodimonte porcelain boxer 34" gh x 18" x 18" gh

Customer Question

I have a capodimonte porcelain boxer 34" high x 18" x 18" high gloss finish absolutely beautiful and quite heavy. Approximate value. I've seen a dalmation at another sight over $2,000.00 this is much finer quality and perfect condition.

Hi, my name is*****'m a certified appraiser and I'd be happy to help.

I'd need to see an overall photo, and a clear close-up of the mark.

Thank you. I did get two photos of the dog, but can you upload a photo of the mark? I need to clearly identify the company.

My apologies for the delay.

I've looked extensively, but I can't find anything on the company Montebello in the mark. Unfortunately, it's not a "collectible" or well-known company like Capo di Monte, Boehm, or Goebel.

It's a very large and nicely modeled and painted example, but given the relatively unknown maker, the value will max out at $75-$100, retail.

Sincerely,

Jennifer
