Customer Question

Hi Frank, A caterer wants to buy my Wallace Grand Baroque sterling. I have 24/7 piece place setting and 10 serving pieces. I am trying to get a clear idea what it is worth as flatware & silver by weight. They are in excellent condition and only half of the settings have seen use. Thanks, Jane

Hi Jane.

Do you have a weight on the silver pieces minus the steel blade knives?

Also can you tell me what serving pieces you have in the set?

Thanks,

Frank

89.2 grams for dinner knives. 49.7 grams for butter knives. 2 serving spoons, 1 pierced serving spoon, sugar spoon, ladle, cake server, meat fork, pickle fork, butter knife. Each place setting includes knife, butter spreader, fork, salad fork, cocktail fork, spoon & soup spoon X 24.

I would just need one weight for the rest of those items without the knives to give you the scrap value for the set

Those knives a scrapper is going to offer between 6-8USD per knife.

Thanks again,

Happy Halloween,

Frank
