I have a victorian couch and chair over 100 years old. Would like to get an idea of the value of these items. There are no tags or identifying features that I can find they are in good shape

Hello and Welcome to Just Answer,

My name is***** am a Personal Property Appraiser and would be happy to assist you with your question.Your late Victorian parlor set including settee and ladies chair would have been produced in the subtly known as the Aesthetic style circa 1880's, which brought more of an artistic approach in the furniture design process. From the photo, the furniture appears to have walnut frames with upholstered seats and backs. In the current market the ladies chair would value between 200-225USD, while the settee would bring closer to 650-750USD.Those values are for the furniture in good overall shape, any damages would detract from the value.

I hope this information was helpful to you today.

Best of luck with your vintage .

Any feedback you can leave for my service would be much appreciated.

Thank You,

Frank
