Found an old floral painting signed by KAY. Wondering if there is any value. I remember seeing this in my parents home in the sixties. Thank you,

The second Kay signature was closest but there is no line behind KAY. Also the first letter K is the largest letter and the AY are both capitalized but smaller than the K. Any value? Thank you, Cindy

Please send me a photo of the signature.
You may need to use the macro function (flower icon) of your camera to get a good clear photo.
If you cannot get a good photo, then sketch the mark and take a photo of the sketch.
To send photos you may use the "attach" or "add" link or paper clip you see on your reply page.
If none is there, then you may use the free internet photo site
imgur.com Use the following instructions:
Go to http://www.imgur.com
a. Click "Computer"
b. Find the photo file on your computer that you want to send
c. Click open on the file
d. You will see a Start Upload link on the imgur.com page.
Click on it
e. Your image will appear on the screen
f. Highlight and copy the address link under Direct Link
to the right on the imgur page

Their are only two artists that I could find that that signed their paintings "Kay." Neither painted in the style of your painting.
There are dozens upon dozens of artists with "Kay" in their names - both men and women.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find an accurate answer to your question.
I am going to release your question (opt-out) so that if another professional knows the answer, he/she can help you.
I will not be able to respond to your questions once I opt-out.
I hope you find the answer to your question.
Kind regards,
Doris

Hi There~
My name is ***** ***** I am here to help with your question.
What is the size?
At your convenience, please send more photos.
A complete image of the back (do not remove from frame) clear, in-focus, close-ups of the surface so I can see the texture will be ideal.
There may be an +Add Files button or if there is a toolbar with a paperclip icon showing on your board, then follow the steps on this link:

I look forward to seeing the images. If you are unable to send photos right away, that is fine – there is not a time limit here.
Sincerely,
Nora

Hi Nora,
The size is 28" wide x 30" high. On the back it says 182/381 Chat & Rend (can't read the names well, I'm guessing) Also stamped on the back is "COPYRIGHTED 1948 NEWMAN DECOR, INC". Do you have access to the photos I sent earlier? Looks like it's in the original frame with glass over painting but my mom did refinish the frame in the sixties I think. I took some extra photos as you suggested. Now I'm more curious about this old painting. Thank you for your help. Cindy
