Customer Question

I have an old 6-leg bench that was in a house my father bought in the 1980's. I was told the bench may have been from France, and possibly one of Louie the ...'s?

Hello and Welcome to Just Answer,My name is***** am a Personal Property Appraiser and would be happy to assist you with your question.Your 1920's Louis XV style bench is decorated with carved acanthus and "C" scrolls along the wooden frame that terminate into what is known as a whorl foot. The 6 legged needlepoint bench would have a current retail market value of 450-550USD in excellent condition. In the current condition you would be looking at closer to 100-150USD as the piece sits.

I hope this information was helpful to you today.

Best of luck with your Louis XV style bench .

Any feedback you can leave for my service would be much appreciated.

Thank You,

Frank
