Customer Question

I have a collection of what I think is bakelite jewelry. The 18 individual broaches depicts women wearing assorted hats. Some of them are wearing sunglassessome with a fan, some smoking cigarettes, etc. The back of the broach has a made in Paris, France label. It also has a watermark of a round circle with horizontal lines drawn through it.
Do you have an idea of where I can find additional information about the broaches

Hello and welcome! My name is Doris.
I have been an antiques collector, dealer and appraiser for over 56 years.
I will be pleased to help you.
I have books on antique and vintage jewelry.
Would you like the names of these books?
There are several that are inexpensive paperbacks.
Kind regards,
Doris

If I wanted a book, I would go to the library. Your response is very disappointing.

The $38.00 that was charged to my credit card is a farce for what I had expected.

I will release your question so that another professional can try to help you with your 18 broaches.
After I "opt out" I will not be able to respond to your questions here.
Kind regards,
Doris

Please add a photo of the brooches/pins and the mark on the bottom. You can do this by using the paper clip icon or the ADD FILES button. These features work best on a desktop computer.
