I have been an antiques collector, dealer and appraiser for over 56 years.

Are the measurements you give with or without the frame?
I need the measurements not including the frame.
Kind regards,

G. Ariglia is known for seascape painting.
When assessing an artist's work, appraisers must look at sales of works by the same artist. Art gallery sales prices are private.
We must then go to auction sales prices which are public. When using comparable work by the same artist, medium, subject matter and size are factors to be considered.
Some auction sales results for work by G. Ariglia:
24 x 36" - Michaan's - 4.6.14 - Sold $900
24 x 30" - DuMouchelles - 2.15.15 - Sold $600
23 x 48" - " - 7.22.12 - Sold $480
Adjusting for size and date of sale, your 24 x 36" G. Ariglia oil pinting has an estimated auction value of $900-1000 assuming very good condition.
A retail art gallery would probably charge double the auction value.
A private seller to a dealer can expect 40-60% of retail value.
I hope I have helped you.
